Cookie Policy

ClipSAT does not set any cookies itself, and runs no advertising or analytics scripts. The one exception is a small visit counter on the home page, described below. This page explains exactly what's stored, using the same plain terms as the Privacy Policy.
What ClipSAT itself stores
Your progress, streaks, mistake log, flashcard review schedule, and dark-mode preference are saved using your browser's local storage — a different, more limited mechanism than cookies. This data stays on your device, is never transmitted to any ClipSAT server, and isn't shared with anyone. You can clear it at any time from your browser's settings.
Visitor counter
The home page shows a live, site-wide visit count, read from ClipSAT's own Supabase project rather than a third-party badge. Each browser tab counts one visit — via a small server-side function that only ever increments a single shared number — and remembers that it already did so for the rest of that tab's session using session storage (cleared automatically when the tab closes; not a cookie), so navigating between pages in the same tab isn't counted twice. No page content, device identifiers, or account information is attached to the call itself. As with any request over the internet, the underlying network request is visible to ClipSAT's hosting infrastructure the way any request is, but ClipSAT's own code never stores or has access to that information — only the running total.
Third-party embeds
Links to WhatsApp, Telegram, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and PayPal take you to those companies' own sites, each of which may set its own cookies under its own policy once you're there. ClipSAT doesn't control or receive data from those cookies.
If this changes
If ClipSAT adds advertising or analytics in the future, this page will be updated first to describe exactly what's added and why, along with a way to control it, before anything goes live.
